Welcome to the 1945 Marshall Fishing Camp, a preservation project by Galveston Historical Foundation. This former GHF Homes Tour participant moved by barge from its lot on 71st and Broadway to a new home near Offatts Bayou. After the move, this house is ready to be called a home again. Updated roof, plumbing, pilings, electric, & HVAC. Two large living rooms - one on each floor. Vintage kitchen and secondary bath are complemented by modern baths in the primary suite and the guest suite. Guest suite is attached to main house via covered breezeway - it would make a great guest room, office, or 'mother-in-law suite'. Secondary bedroom could be easily made into two large bedrooms. Views in all directions feature sunrise, sunset, seasonal fireworks, boat/barge traffic from afar, & picturesque views of the Causeway. Two marinas nearby for boaters - wet slips, dry slips and ramps. Large lot offers plenty of green space and off-street parking. See virtual tour for video of home being moved.
